Your CAUTG membership begins and ends with the calendar year. Renewing your membership before December 31st guarantees the uninterrupted delivery of the association’s quarterly journal Seminar. Throughout the year, members receive:

  • four editions of the academic journal Seminar
  • the CAUTG’s Bulletin, informing you of news and developments in the field of Canadian German Studies (PDF)
  • the Directory of Departments of Germanic Studies at Canadian Universities and Colleges (PDF)
  • the opportunity to present at the annual meeting of the CAUTG (contingent on successful peer review of your proposal)

Members support the association’s numerous initiatives and programs for the advancement of research, educational leadership, and international cooperation. The association recognizes members for their excellence and dedication within the field of Germanic Studies with a number of awards. The CAUTG represents the interests of Canadian German Studies within higher education and to the general public, nationally and internationally.
